Hibid services have now been restored. Auction dates have been adjusted, please review revised dates and pick up times before bidding. Sandhills the company who owns Hibid is continuing to investigate with cyber security experts to determine if any customer information was compromised and will take appropriate steps to notify impacted individuals as needed.

Be advised our next planned sale is Thursday October 7th to Tuesday October 12th featuring Props and Set Decor Part 2 from a TV Series . Due to the unknown length of the Hibid outage we will most likely be running it on a different platform, so check back here or via our Facebook page for the platform it will be held on and the link to it.

Hibid Global Outage

Hello All,

As many of you who may have tried to log on to the bidding platform will know, Hibid the company that provides the bidding platform for over 4000 Auctions in North America has been down since 6AM Friday October 1st.

Their entire network including all platforms under their parent company Sand Hills and all auctions that use the platform is down in addition to all their related sites. As of 3:20PM Saturday October 2nd they posted a formal release stating that due to a cyber attack Friday morning they had to shut down all of their websites to protect customer data and integrity of their sites. At the time of that post they had not detected that any customer data was compromised however they are still fully investigating the event and updates will be posted as we receive them.

It is unknown how long the Hibid network will be down. It could be hours , days or longer depending on what they have to do to securely get it back up and operating properly.

The current sale scheduled to close Monday will be postponed, rescheduled or extended if the site is not back up by 6PM Sunday. We are currently looking at moving our auctions to another platform in the short term as we have some scheduled later this week that can’t be postponed.
